Polly's Market Day

Polly went to the market
Wearing a frilly frock
And a little pink bonnet
And spotted blue socks

She wore a pair of white shoes
And little blue earrings
With her was a basket
Containing many things

First she bought a little clock
And a lovely blue hat
And then some shiny buttons
And also a table mat

After finishing her shopping
Her basket was full
It seemed very heavy
And it she could not pull

My little sister

I have a small sister
Who loves to play with a ball
She's very fair with blue eyes
And she is very tall

Her cheeks are rosy red
And her teeth are milk white
She doesn't wear glasses
And she has very good eyesight

She has beautiful golden hair
All tied up with a bow
The end of her dress is set
With pink roses in a row

She weighs fifty pounds
Her height is four feet
And people always praise her
Because she is so neat

She is very cute
She's a cheerful child
Her name is Sally
And she is very mild

A Poem

A poem written for RebaMashi in 2008

My really favourite character
Plays the role of a narrator
Who loves to eat chilli chicken
And read books by Charles Dickens
And yet he's serious about his work
And all the others say "What a jerk"

He is the man
Who never gets a tan
Even when he goes by the seas
And then he drinks some coffee
And some sticky sticky toffee
And then it blows happily, the breeze!

It blows away his hand
And his cute pet cat
And all of his food
So he says, "How rude"
